Matt and Sally met in December 2023 at Platte Park Brewing, the neighborhood favorite that became the setting for their first date. What began as a casual drink quickly turned into a second date, a ski day in Winter Park. Despite a traffic-filled morning, there wasn’t a single lull in conversation on the drive. They spent the day skiing and talking nonstop, bonding over their shared love of the mountains.

Since then, they’ve built a relationship rooted in both comfort and adventure. At home, they cherish slow mornings with coffee, movie nights on their beloved sectional couch, and unwinding with the occasional glass of wine after a long day.

That steadiness is balanced by their shared love of exploring the world together, traveling from Hawaii to Italy and Antigua, adventuring in Jackson with trips to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park, and spending meaningful time with family and friends in Chicago, Wrightsville Beach, and the River House. Closer to home, they fill their weekends with ski days, camping adventures, hikes to alpine lakes, and bike rides around the neighborhood, with the occasional spontaneous getaway simply because they had a free weekend to take advantage of together.
